High Performance 3 Axis VMC The VMX range is our heavy duty production class range. This range comes higher spec'd as standard and are built with a fundamentally stiffer design and heavier weight. Coupled with higher RPM spindles that are chilled for temperature control, the machines are very well respected in mould maker environments for their accuracy and surface finish quality. 4th Axis VMC Hurco offer a dedicated purpose built 4th axis machine in the VMX SW range. These machines consist of a large 3 axis table and are coupled with a swivel head spindle. Hurco also offer a range of plug and play rotary tables for any of their 3 axis machine tools. Automation Solutions
We have two excellent automation solutions that support successful lights out machining. Our Pro Cobot range of automation is a plug and play system that allow the loading and unloading of small components to either a mill or a lathe. The system can be switched between machines within 30 minutes. Automation programming is handled fully through the Hurco control in a simple drag and drop selection method. Our second solution is an Erowa pallet loading machine, capable of feeding a 3 or 5 axis machine. We predominently install these on 5 axis Hurcos and the system is able to feed two machines from the one automation cell. The most popular system is the Erowa compact 80, taking up just 2m2 of floorspace and feeding two machines with a 48 pallet capacity. With Hurco the integration is not left as a third party bolt on, we take responsibiltiy for the full install and operation and have written customised software to yet again complete all the automaton programming through the Hurco control in a drag and drop method. The learning curve for automation programming is essentially removed. |
